Libby is fantastic for reading at any time of year, but we think it’s especially handy in the summer months when travelling and relaxation require easy, on-the-go reads. Libby works with any smartphone or tablet, so you don’t have to have a special reader (though Libby is also compatible with Kobo). If you haven’t downloaded the Libby app, now is the time to get it! And then make use of these three features, perfect for summer:
- Downloads: ebooks, AudioBooks and magazines can all be enjoyed offline, so when you’re camping, road tripping or flying you won’t miss a beat! Download any item you’ve borrowed in Libby by clicking the cloud icon to the right of that item.
- Tags: you can create custom lists of books by using the Tags feature. This is perfect for curating items for kids, and lets you quickly see available items you know they’ll love. You can also filter items to create lists of just audiobooks, just graphic novels, or whatever their favourites are.
- Magazines: Libby has over four hundred different magazine titles in stock, and they are all available on-demand! That means no holds and no waiting, even for the most recent issues. Whatever your interest, you can dive in and sample what Libby has to offer for these perfectly poolside items.
