We are a Certified Homeschool-Friendly Library. Our staff have been trained by an experienced homeschooling coach to better understand:
- The nature of home-based learning in Canada
- The types of services that support learning at home
- Common programs and curriculums used by homeschoolers
- How our resources can be best used for learning at home
Services for Homeschoolers
- Free Wifi, computer access, and scanning to email
- Reduced printing costs for homeschoolers (10 cents/pg) available by sending requests via our online form
- InterLibrary Loan Service: Access items from libraries across Ontario through the Interlibrary Loan website

Learning at Home Reading List
This staff-created list includes books about homeschooling, early literacy and more. Educational DVDs, French items and Accessible Readers are among our many resources.
Whether you are a long-term homeschooler, using remote learning, or just looking to develop a learning-positive home, we compile titles that can help parents make learning fun and meaningful for all ages.
Our Children’s Librarian
