Launch Day: TD Summer Reading Club

Today is the day, when the TD Summer Reading Club officially opens in Brighton!

Beginning today, you can drop by the Library to register for the program and pick up your Club Kit. Once you’re registered, kids can read what they love and win prizes all summer long! If you can’t make it to the Library for Launch Day, you can still register at any other time throughout the summer months. The Club has options for pre-readers as well as a variety of accessible formats, so please let us know what best suits your family.

How does it Work? There is no specific required reading – this program is about celebrating what kids love to read and encouraging them to keep reading through the summer months! When you visit the Library after registering, kids are invited to tell Library staff about what they’ve been reading, and they then have the chance to choose a prize from the treasure chest. Your Club Kit has items to make it easy to keep track of what you’ve read, along with other related activities to try out during the summer.
