These ideas hail from a medical tradition dating over 2500 years old\, called Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). TCM has evolved with the times\, and includes herbal medicine\, nutrition\, acupuncture\, acupressure\, qi gong\, tai chi and many other aspects. Bring all your health questions to this introductory talk about TCM\, by a local\, licensed practitioner with over 14 years clinical experience supporting people through complex\, chronic illnesses. \nAbout the presenter: Pauline Sok Yin Hwang (R.TCMP\, M.Med) is a Registered Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner and Registered Acupuncturist based in Warkworth. She is the founder of Hillgreen Oncology Acupuncture & Herbs (treating both cancer and non-cancer patients)\, a researcher in integrative medicine\, an organic farmer\, and an experienced facilitator/speaker/coach in cancer support\, mindfulness\, health and social justice. DESCRIPTION:Led by award-winning local author Linda Rawlings\, this series is perfect for people who want to spark their creative side and begin a writing practice. No prior experience with creative writing is required.  \nThis three-week program will run on Wednesdays (March 25th\, April 1st and April 8th) from 3:00-5:00pm. As each week builds on a new skill\, it is best to attend each week to get the most out of this program. All materials are provided\, but you’re welcome to bring any writing utensils that you prefer (e.g. notebooks and favourite pens!).  \nRegistration is required\, as spaces are limited.  \nLearn more about our instructor\, Linda: \nLinda Rawlings received her Certificate in Continuing Studies in Creative Writing from the University of Toronto in 2009.
